Sometimes Even Our Strongest Need Support.

Created in October 2020, TWS established Operation Emergency Fund to support military families in crisis. The intention was to create an emergency response mechanism that would offer financial aid in a confidential and rapid manner for those facing acute hardship.

To confront the needs of emergency housing, critical mental health services, emergency child care, or food security, TWS has worked closely with CAF Padres and Military Family Resource Centres to ensure that families in need of immediate financial assistance get the support they so deserve. To date, this program has assisted over 200 families across 22 bases Canada wide for a total of $55,000

In October of 2021 Together We Stand was proud to be named the official partner to the Chaplain network by Chaplain General Guy Bélisle.

“It was truly wonderful; for the young woman and her two children… and for you and your team at Together We Stand for providing the Emergency funds that helped where it was truly needed. Thank you for your tremendous support; I just wanted you to know how important and impactful it is as we support our troops and their families in times of need.”

– Cold Lake MFRC

“You and your donors are having a meaningful impact on military families and there are not enough words to express how grateful we are for all that you do.

Thank you TWS, to you and your team and your donors!!”

– Esquimalt MFRC

“Your assistance is so appreciated. I wish you could have seen the member today and how grateful they were to receive their gift. Just the little bit made such a huge difference, knowing someone cares. Thank you TWS for being a partner in my vocation.”

– CFB Shearwater, Chaplain

“Thank you! What an incredible resource for our soldiers (and their families) in need.

This is a remarkable partnership.”

– CFB Edmonton, Chaplain
